We were told to come to this town by an antique shop owner that said I was his favorite restaurant and town. We are so glad we listened to him! The best meal of the trip and possibly the best food I have ever eaten!!! We had a group of 6 and went on a Friday for 12 and just walked in. The restaurant was beautiful inside and the staff was very friendly. Lots of gluten free options for my wife. She ended up getting the beef carpaccio, it was a mountain of beef and cheese and then they shaved black truffle all over it!!! Tasted unreal! I got the venison rague and it was so good! Our table also got meat, and zucchini plate, a pesto dish , a spicy prawn, stock and garlic and a butter, garlic and zucchini flower pasta with shaved truffles that was an unbelievable bite!! Then a bottle of house wine and a bottle of water. Every bite from each dish was so good!!!!! Thank you for what you put into your dishes and for the price!!!

good restaurant, very nice candle-lit ambiance. all food was good, I had truffled eggs and pumpkin puree with shrimps. they serve traditional also meat and pasta dishes, all my 5 friends enjoyed what they had. the owner was grumpy: not impolite, but impatient and not smiling. maybe he was just having a bad day. the server was really nice and she took time to explain all the large selection of different local “amari” (bitters and digestives). Price-wise, a bit more expensive than the average local restaurant.

So good that we ate here for dinner both nights of our stay in lovely Pontremoli. Wonderful service (notably a super friendly waitress who spoke perfect English to make up for our embarrassingly poor Italian), excellent wines and the very best food that we ate in all of our two weeks in Tuscany. Faultless. We’ll be back!

Absolutely brilliant experience. Staff were very accommodating and the food was incredible. Would love to visit again and try out some more of the menu. Truffle pasta was 10/10.

Excellent lunch menu, traditional Testaroli and a fantastic truffle and baby marrow flower pasta. Fresh pasta, delicious sauce. Worth a visit for sure. Also good value at the price.

Best food in Pontremoli, I've never been disappointed here. Staff are so friendly and kind. The seafood dishes and fried zucchini flowers are divine. I'll never come to Pontremoli without eating here.

Unpretentious welcome and service for fine dishes and wine. The Ratatouille presentation and flavors were exquisite. I highly recommend this restaurant.
